Our time at WFMU
We recorded a set at WFMU a few hours ago for Scott McDowell's excellent "Long Rally" show. It'll air on Wednesday, 7/16 at 11pm. Tune in!
Before we played, Scott gave us a tour of the building. Here's their "Wall of Tapes," which, we were told, was recently scaled down considerably. Too bad!
There were a couple of Irving Klaw Trio tapes in the lot (Self-Titled from 1994, plus another I didn't recognize), and a great looking Schooly D gem, too:
We made our way into the basement, which seemed to be where they keep all of the bad records. Case in point, Ben with Accept's classic "Balls to the Wall":
