That swivel mount reminds me of the adapter AKG used to make for their 451 E's (it's called an A51, if you're wondering). Speaking of which, why have we phased out rotating/remote capsule mic designs? There are a few options out there, but the pickings are slim! Is there some sort of "mic placement correction" plugin that I don't know about? Angled caps just make life easier.
Anyway, be sure to check out the little Q&A at the bottom of the auction-- these Dutch guys are pros!

I just got the same email on by ebay acct. I was excited at first but leery because it seemed suspicious. First of all he was offering $400 more than my asking price..secondly, it was to be shipped out of the country, not to his address, but to his "new store" address. That way, his address would not match if I was to check through the credit card company. Thirdly, he did not want to be contacted through the e bay address, supposedly because he had trouble receiving emails through ebay so gave another address. I emailed him back using the ebay address and asked him to use paypal. I then decided to look up Johan Anwar, the name he gave, just to see if there was any suspicious online activity ...and obviously, there is. The identical email sent to all of you bloggers!!! Thanks for putting this online. It may have saved me from a terrible scam!!!
