Shows this week

I'll be playing first shows with two different bands this week:

Thursday, 11:30: The Science Jerks (Chris from the Christian Pirate Puppets and I) at the Sidewalk Cafe. 60s frat rock, played on Casios. Nan Turner is on at 10!

Sunday, 8:30: Motorcycle Money (Kyle from New Mexicoe and I) at Bruar Falls. Lots of guitar solos and an Alan Vega cover, too. Opening for Kyle's old band, The Stoned Ambassadors. This is happening during some sort of BBQ event, naturally.

Both shows are free! I'll have copies of Movie Night: The Band (Chris, Jess and I)'s brand new debut EP with me, if you've been waiting for that one-- free if you ask for it by name. Come on out!

Most Delicious Dinner

You guys I made such a delicious dinner tonight. Based on the delicious stylings of Mark Bittman in Kitchen Express (Italian Tostada, pg. 173), I made a sort of red pesto tortilla pizza and I think I'll have the same thing for dinner tomorrow night. You can read all about it at Sunday Vegan Sunday, which is back!
