Make Noise DPO

A couple of clips centered around the new Make Noise dual oscillator, the DPO. The iPad/TouchOSC/Max inclusion was inspired by all of the 296e videos that have popped up in the last year, in an attempt to play up the "Buchla-ness" of the module. More soon.

Current obsession: Stephen Scott

Part of one of my jobs at the moment involves taking inventory of a large, decent and definitely-not-my-own record collection. I came across Stephen Scott's "New Music for Bowed Piano" LP in it yesterday and have been listening to little else since. Recommended!

Here's a piece of his called "Entrada," performed in 1999 by the Bowed Piano Ensemble at Colorado College (where "New Music..." was also recorded (in 1984)):
