Lucky Dragons show the other night

Here's a Post-It note flier I made for the Lucky Dragons show earlier this week at Zebulon:

I had to leave early and didn't catch their set. Were you there? How was it??

More advertising edits

The "Kill the Messenger" posters just went up in our station. My first thought: "Hey! A 545!" As soon as the platform cleared, this happened...

Art we made

You can also make it say "KOK EROUS," which is pretty funny, too.

Delia print

I'm taking a class this weekend at the Center for Book Arts on lo-tech polymer printmaking. So far, so good! Today we drew on film negatives with X-acto knives, burned the drawings onto plates and printed them on the letterpress. Tons of fun.

Here's my drawing of Delia Derbyshire (lifted from this photo) and its plate and print:

Nice drawing of The Shamblers

Bryan, of Dracula Zombie USA, put together tonight's show at The Knitting Factory, and had some nice things to say about our little group on his site. Here's a drawing he made of us:

Leaving a mark

I came across this odd bit of animation while researching high-def rubber stamps for a project I'm working on. It reminded me a bit of the Z. Vex site, actually...

Somehow, I ended up here: "Creative Concrete Stamping."

This seems like a great alternative to spraypaint or mosiac graffiti. And, because it looks like something Public Works would be doing anyway, you could probably sneak onto a sidewalk repair site in broad daylight, imprint your tag and make your exit under the guise of a Union break...

Great new tag idea

If you're brave enough to go into the tunnels, be smart enough to use "C.H.U.D." in your graffiti.

Gobos

Here's a design for the isolation screens I'd eventually like to build. Marvel at my MS Paint prowess.
