Little Big Muff
Terry lent us his new E-H "Little Big Muff" pedal, which he says has "the guts of a Big Muff in a smaller box." Can't wait to try it out!

eBay pick of the day: Neve AM6/26 compressors
Pair of Neve AM6-26 compressors
Never seen these before-- they look like a Shep SNDC6 (more so than an actual Neve 33609), cut in half and racked as two mono channels. I'm putting them on my Christmas list, right below a 500 series Lunchbox of 512cs and 525s and a pair of Royer 122s. Ho ho ho!

Terry Duvall had a ticket to see them in Portland last week but the show was cancelled "due to the band breaking up."
Here are a few songs from one of their last shows (11/26/06):

Shamblers practice
The Shamblers (w/ Ben Truesdale on drums) practiced tonight in the Project Room. Our set at The Sidewalk Cafe on Friday is going to be amazing.

Makeshift monitors
We ran two of The Traveler's outputs into a Behringer mixer, and ran that into a home stereo. I'm thinking about writing "Genelec" on the speakers.

First Leisure Cove dinner party
Jess made roasted chick peas with sauteed spinach, and tofu and acorn squash with turmeric over quinoa, adapted from this post from Gluten-Free Girl. We had ours without the red peppers, but it was all delicious and hearty! After dinner we played Parcheesi and had cocktails from Major Nightcaps. Charlotte, our guest for the evening, brought over these great porcelain salsa and guacamole dishes as a housewarming present. Thanks, Charlotte!
